I don't think I intend to have a running commentary on idol every week - but this week i have alot to say the show opened with Emilia - regular readers will know she's my least favourite - she sang Anyone who had a heart -- I love this song -- I love this song when it it sung by those soprano 60's singers with hig voices -- Emelia doesn't have a high voice - it's very low - and this song was bad imo - the judges disagreed with me - but i think they want Emelia to be the next Cosima - so th...

I was watching Neighbours last night for the first time in a couple of weeks and they were introducing a new character - who was clashing with Sky -- and Nick walks in the room and says "Oh it's the lesbian" and I said What? What are you talking about? He's like "yeah I read it on News.com.au - she's a lesbian. I thought - News.com.au reported that Neighbours was going to have a lesbian character? I watched the Oscar's earlier this year so I heard a little bit about Angels in America (hereafter referred to as AiA or Angels depending on what I type try to keep up) when they were talking about the nominations it received. I knew it would be a quality movie looking at the cast - Meryl Streep, Al Pacino, Emma Thompson, Mary Louise Parker - the list goes on but I had no idea th...

I was thinking about Teegs eyebrow thing and Harold Holt was brought up - and I described him incorrectly - i said something about him being slightly balding and pudgy. In the photo I have in front of me from the March AWW he's quite slender - no skinny but you know muscular - and I couldnt see his hair it was under a snorkel - but his eyebrows are very non-distinct. So then I said I was thinking of a different Harold who drowned. Harold Bishop (Neighbours) back in like 1992 (???) went t...

**Edit*** -- Inspired by Muggaz' Australia the 53rd (although he possibly meant 51st?) State article I wanted to update this blog an highlight just the programs that are still being screened in bold and the programs being repeated in bold italics. ************************ I was watching Rove Live last night and I fell asleep typing this blog in my head. Anyone who knows me knows I'm like a total tv nut. My mother-in-law tells me I'm wasting my talents and should be an entertainment journ...
