Elana has started doing this really odd thing, I think I've mentioned how she goes up to her bedroom and comes back with her dummy. If I haven't she has this habit of kinda stopping whatever it was she was doing like a light bulb has gone off in her head and she's like "oh someting missing" she stops what she's doing and runs up to her bedroom (or the hallway/playroom) and comes back with her dummy firmly planted in her mouth and goes back to whatever if was she was doing before.
I've mentioned that before right?
Have I mentioned the odd fascination she has with her shoes, how she won't let us take them off her feet and when they do come off she goes and gets them and acrries them around with her. Like the time she screamed, squealed cried and yelled because she couldn't reach one of the shoes that was on the bed and when I gave it to her she giggled and delight and sat down in the hallway with the two shoes tryingto put them on her feet?
Well this morning she had her shoes and was banging them on the coffee table - yes the glass one that she tries to take a bite out of.
But the really odd thing is her new Linus from peanuts impression. Where she will RUN up to her room and come out with not her dummy (she's already got that) not her shoes (they're just over there were she left them to go play with that red bock) but her pink bunny rug. She runs up to her bedroom and pulls her pink bunny rug out of her cot and lays it down on the floor of the hallway and get this
She lays down
Yes she puts her bunny rug on the hallway floor and lays down on it - on her tummy kicking her legs - then after a few minutes she gets up and moves on to the next thing.
She's done this four or five times in the last week. Mummy puts it away and makes her bed and Elana removes the blanket and leave it in the hallway. Infact it's laying in the hallway right now - Elana is in the playroom creating havoc with blocks and her pink bunny rug is laying in the hallway. And I don't really understand it. She has a carebears flip out couch she could lay on if she wanted too. She could even bring the bunny rug and lay near the desk/tv/couch but instead she lays down in the middle of the hallway I don't get it but it's Hilarious (and really cute)
**she just came out of the playroom and laydown on her rug, then she sat up and wrapped it around herself, then she stood up with rug in hand and toddled over to me where she placed the rug on my lap, then she took it off me lay it on the floor beside me and put her head on it then she got up walked away with the rug dropped it behind me and is now sitting about a metre away from me and the rug playing with her toes and a spoon.
