Last night was an absolutly disgustingly hot night. I was sitting on the couch watching CSI - trying to figure out if I'd seen it already and Nick was watching Anime on his computer. He must have gotten up and gone away and I didn't notice because he called to me to "Close Your Eyes"
I did so, reluctantly, because I'm an eternal pessimest and I was thinking the worst - mouse, cockeroach *shrugs* Then he turns CSI off - I'm even more confused but he takes my hand and pulls me off the couch saying I can open my eyes now - so I do - the opening strains of Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a wonderful world begin (regular readers may remember my "finally working it out" - who sang that song and what it was after months of not knowing)
And I see Nick in his wedding suit (actually it's just the jacket and his work pants) and I cried and laughed and cried so more.
Some women have a thing for men in uniform - I get weak at the knees at Nick in a suit/tux
He's slow dancing with me to Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole Somewhere over the rainbow/what a wonderful world in his wedding suit on the hottest night this year. For no reason. It wasn't an anniversary or a particularly special day it was just a really hot sticky Tuesday night. And I cried
