So Elana SCREAMS out crying uncontrollably this morning and Nick goes in to her. I wake up and look at the clock. It's 4:44am. I get up to see what's going on - nick chamges her nappy and she sobs a bit laughs a bit smiles when she sees me. Nick gives her to me saying I'm going to get up (the tv is in our bedroom so he had to get it and carry it to the lounge) and she cries and holds her arms out for him. He goes to the bedroom I take her out into the lounge where she sees her toys and starts playing. Nick turns on the computer intending to play some World of Warcraft - and I go back to bed.
Had Nick not gotten up I would have put her back to bed after changing her.
So Nick and Elana wake me up 6:30 where Elana has breakfast and so do we. Nick tells me that Elana spent the morning crawling around the house and playing with stuff quietly and that the WoW servers were down.
It's now 7:55am -- Nick left at 7:30 and I put Elana down for a sleep.
Elana played quietly by herself this morning -- unlike yesterday she got up at the usual time - 7amish and Nick asked me to get her because he needed to sleep -- he and his brother (who was on the couch in the lounge) had gotten to bed at 2am after their Lan (alex & pete went home)
So Elana and I got up and did the usual - I told James to go and sleep in Elana's room and he did and I attempted to keep Elana happy occupied and quiet. - This is normally pretty easy but yesterday for some reason she decided she had to be loud.
Everything she did she did loudly - thumping while she crawled and yelling at the top of her lungs. So I tried putting Hi-5 on to keep her quiet so the boys could keep sleeping. Didn't work at all - instead she laughed and yelled at the tv rather then just sitting and watching
Nick got up at 8am - like the walking dead - and she ran over to him excitedly and just sat quietly in his arms for 10minutes before going off again.
So I don't know what woke her this morning -Nick suggested bad dream and cold - I said teething. We checked her cot and body for ants, mosquitoes or spiders (bites) - but found nothing.
But she's asleep again now and I will be in 5 minutes - Goodnight (8:01am)
