I really liked Chanel but with her and Daniel both in the bottom 2 I was praying it was her and not him.

I think Courtney should have gone based on his last performance. It really is hard to see any of them go because they are so good.

I really think it has come down to two people.. Ricky Lee and Anthony. Anthony's performance was absolutely amazing. I had goose bumps hearing him sing last night. I think all the performers are really great and will get to where they want to go.

Daniel was good but not someone who would win Idol. He didnt fit the mold they look for. But Im sure he will get his career going out of this experience.

If you're looking for an idol who can imitate Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and Beyonce Knowles then Ricki-Lee is your girl

But I's like an idol with original talent, someone who'll write and perform their own songs - possibly even write the music too.

There's NOTHING original about Ricki-Lee

I agree with you totally!

But unfortunately due to the teenage crowd who are the ones who mostly vote and buy the records and who this show is aimed at they arent gonna want the originality that someone like Daniel or Courtney can produce. They want pop culture, what sells for the moment.

I spend alot of my time when Im driving switching stations on the radio cause alot of whats out now is crap.

So I agree with you you Trina.

I think also they're really trying to push Ricki-Lee onto the public because she's marketable and 2 she's competition for Paulini, Cosima and Delta - none of which are signed to BMG.
If a male won then he'd just be competing with Guy, Shannon and Millsy

that's a really good point trina -- i mean australia's the one who decides in the end but from the record company's point of view it's about who they're competing with. plus it rounds out their artist list a bit more -- as far as i know bmg doesn't have a really bright female star at the moment. at least no one who's on the same playing field as those girls you mentioned.

BMG Asutralia doesn't

BMG has Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia - they've got Alicia Keyes, Pink and Avril - but they don't have any Aussies - hence the pushing of Ricki-Lee - Australia's answer to Beyonce
