I have never been so stressed watching an AFL game in my life.
The Lions did infact beat the Cats but it wasn't as convincing as I was hoping BL (12-12-84) GC (10-15-75)
Granted I'm only a new fan - I started watching mid-way through last year and I've watched almost every Lions game this year but oh my gosh my shoulders are so tense. We've got my brother-in-law over tonight - he and Nick are playing Neverwinter Nights -- on our dining table - I was screaming at the tv and getting very worked up
To make it worse the Broncos lost really badly - Gordon Tallis (Bronco's Captain) has retired on a 10-0 (nil - zip zero nothing) loss. The score was 8-0 at half time and 10-0 at full time. Good on the Cowboys but really sucky for the Broncos and Gordie.
I'm so stressed I have this ginormous headache.
Next week Lions vs Power at the MCG -- I wonder how many Victorians will even watch the game on TV let alone buy tickets to the Grandfinal -- Two non-Victorian teams. it's a bit of a joke really.
Can we see the Lions make it four in a row - the only other team in History ??
