Okay I have my favourites -- and if any of them leave I think Australia needs a kick in the head

Top 4 in 5 weeks time Should be Daniel Belle, Chanel Cole, Marty Warrell and Courtney (what's his last name?)

tonight was the Pop show

Beginning with Casey's version of Don't speak by No Doubt -- I like Casey - I've liked her last two performances but I don't think she hit the mark tonight -- she was okay but not brilliant.

Next was Dan - he sang Higher by Creed -- it was pretty passe - of course the judges raved over it = I think his Josh Kelly was great but his Screaming Jets was eh and his creed was almost bad.

Emelia was next -- I won't comment because I really don't have anything nice to say -- she sang Pink's Family Portrait.

It was at this point that we left our inlaws and drove home -- in that time we missed Anthonys performance of RKelly's Ignition -- my guess is I wasn't missing much but I don't like that song -- his Hoobestanks Reason wildcar performance was brilliant though.

Next was Anstacia's left outside alone performed by Hayley. -- Eh it was alright - I can sit through Hayleys performances but they don't blow me away.

Amali - 16yo girl from Tas sang Mary Mary's Shackles -- it wasn't terrible -- I don't think it was brilliant - but it wasn't terrible - eh.

After the break was Courtney -- I was so happy not to have missed this one -- he sanmg an old song that I only knew from movie Now Then -- its the one they sing when riding their bikes -- I think they stop when they meet the hippy -- or maybe its when they find the boys bikes and steal their clothes -- can't remember "No matter what you are, I will always be with you cause no matter what you do girl oh girl won't you"
Eh I'm not on Australlian idol -- plus I'm writing in the dark -- I despise this laptop at periodic times my screen goes blank - it's a darn nuscience - so I apologise for any mistakes I may miss when I correct this later

Chanel was next -- I missed her performance last week (green limosine by the badloves) because of the driving home thing (we missed Daniels too) Tonight she was oh my gosh amazing -- Shirley Bassey History Repeating -- spot on even rthe husky bit - it was pure brilliance and she looked so great too.

Daniel was next -- my 3 (4 actually) favourites in a row -- Daniel has a classical voice and he sang Josh Grobans You raise me up -- I LOVE that song -- I Love Josh Groban and Daniel blew me away -- I almost cried it was so good.

Marty (my 4th fav) followed - he sang a song I didn't know - and I can't remember what it was -- but he did a great job - we love marty.

Last was Qlder Ricky-Lee - she sang Beyonce Work it out -- I hate Beyonce but she has the look and she has the voice to pull it off.

Tough choice for tomorrow nights live verdict

My picks for bottom tree (wishful thinking) Emelia, Hayley and Amali (or Anthony -- I don't mind)

Last week the bottom three were Angie, Emelia and Amali -- so who knows

I will cry if chanel, daniel or courtney are in the bottom three -- I really hope they stay -- they are all amazing and bring something different to idol - not carbon copies of popstars

Trina..I'm jealous..We have to wait till January for American Idol. I admit it I like that reality show and "The Apprentice" but that is it!

i think the song they sing in now & then when they're riding their bikes is the one that goes "knock three times on the ceiling if you want me...." (which i love for some crazy reason). i don't remember the one you mentioned and i missed the show last night! we went to the city and saw crying out loud (carrah's boyfriend's band). which was cool.

They're both songs from the bike scene -- oh man this is going to bug me until I remember the exact scene now.

You missed some really good performances -- and I have NO idea who's going home -- but I really WILL cry if its chanel. courtney or daniel (daniel not dan)

Was this at the Riverstage? Did you see Muse?
