It's 9:22am - I've been up since 6:30 and I'm having one of those who can be stuffed doing anything kind of days.

The problem with the internet is you can't communicate HOW you're speaking so the person on the other end could take something you think you're saying calmly - as angrilly or incensed.

To clarify - if anyone reads this -- I'm not taking sides - I understand it is anyone's perogitive to delete and blacklist whomever they want for whatever reason they wish. I did however agree with Muggaz about the Tracey Givens stuff -- and I feel the same way about the fred harteis stuff -- but I'm a chicken who likes to sit on the fence and not take sides or participate in conflict.
Also - I'm a Christian - I Love God as my creator and Father and his Son Jesus as my friend and Saviour. I'm a child of the most high God and I'm trying to let my words and actions be an example of the light and love of Jesus. I know from reading blogs that Wahine and Gideon are also Christians and that Dharma and LW believe in something - yet all of them and more were participating in the paying out of both Tracey Givens and the fred harteis/biznet guy -- To me that's not very Christian - it's not nice either and it's not shining the light of Jesus.

As for the other things that people don't like about Muggaz - in particular his support of Sir Peter Maxwell -- I don't have anything to say - I agree with Bakerstreet you're fighting with a muppet and I have chosen to ignore everything he comes up with. Muggaz has told me a few times when I questioned him that he thinks SPM is the funniest person on JU that everything he says is satire and that he just sits back and laughs at everyone getting up in arms about SPM's blogs -- Whatever - to each his own.

I also questioned Muggaz about deleting H-Bombs comment -- He told me the story - it pertains to something in their personal life and has nothing to do with JU and he deleted it because he didn't think it was approapriate to speak about their - He also didn't think H-bomb would say anything - He was wrong and he was sorry and when I left him he was going to restore her comments.

In other news - Australia is one gold medal away from their best ever Olympic games -- In Sydney we got 16 gold and we currently have 16 gold in Athens As well as 11 silver and 15 bronze (i think) we're now third on the ladder under China and USA. Apparently on the REAL MEDAL tally - ie most gold per person population (wrong term but my heads mushy) ... We're in front followed by United Arab Emrites -- I have no idea what it really means but cool we have the most medals -- something like 1 per every 1.9million as compared to China which was like 1 per 59million (or was that usa - it was yesterday)

Elana is SO SO close to crawling - she's so fast she gets up on her knees and moves her arms and shuffles forward but her knees slip -- If it was summer and she wasn't wearing pants with feet and knees she'd be gone!! She was everywhere this morning. And she can now say daddadad -- I have no idea if she knows what it means - but we've said it to her so much that she can say it -- Nick said Hey Elana Dadadad and Elana was like NAH!!! - she was kinda grumpy about it - we cracked up laughing -- She said goodbye to him this morning - she was like Where'd he go as he walked up the kerb she was trying to look around the corner - it was so cute.

I really can not be bothered with housework today -- Of course I have to and I will bit right now I can't be stuffed -- I have a small headache from that guys flashing "bored" blog -- how the heck did he do that anyway. And I have really bad cramps - not that anyone needs to know that but I do so there

I love 96five - I'd forgotten how much I really liked 96five - 10am and Dr James Dobson will be on the radio - yesterday was about marriage -- actually the last 2 weeks have been about marriage - they're always very interesting. I love it when they play third day - because I Love Third Day. It's kinda annoying when they play that same sets of songs day in day out -- especially when they play them twice or even 3 times in one day - Example Mark Schultz - Letters from War - -I fully really like that song but it's getting just a little bit old.
On the plus side its great when they play a song you haven't heard in ages - like In the Light - DC Talk -- since its my favourite DC Talk song (by the way the song right now is amazing love)

The other day I heard I want to know you more - Sonicflood -- Which was really weird since it was the first SonicFlood song I'd every heard way back 5years ago when I became a Christian - SonicFlood at that time was HUGE at Rivers it was in everyones cd. The other big song for me at that time - and I haven't heard it in AGES (mainly because 96five plays more of his new stuff) Steven Curtic Shapmans DIVE -- man I loved loved loved that song -- and it's not even the best song.
I heard Skillets I Rest the other afternoon too - which also brings back memories -- I love how music does that - how powerful music is that every song has a memory attached to it - or two. Slice of Heaven came on last week and I immediately thought of Tegan (not footrot flats or new zealand)

I really really really like a song I hear all the time - and it's probably two or three years old now - The Lumber Song by Eli
Said a friend to a friend one day,
Was a man who passed away
St. Peter met him at the gate
Pete said: Walk with me if you will
I'll take you to the house you built
Man said: I can't wait!

Passed a mansion made of stone
But with each new house he's shown
They get smaller by degrees
Stopped in front of a two room shack
Pete said hope you're happy with that
Man said: How can this be?
Pete said…

Chorus:
That's all the lumber—that's all the lumber
That's all the lumber you sent
Looks like the builder—man, he's got your number
That's all the lumber you sent

Man didn't know what to say
Poor guy was blown away
Said: You mean this is what I deserve?
Pete said: "I'm afraid it's so
It's too late but now you know
Shoulda done better work.

Said: “You mean not lie and cheat
And helpin' old ladies across the street?”
Pete says: Well, that's a start
Remember that man back in that great big house?
He found out early what it's all about
Built that place with his heart
As for you…

Chorus:
That's all the lumber—that's all the lumber
That's all the lumber you sent
Looks like the builder—man, he's got your number
That's all the lumber you sent.

What if that man was me?
And I failed that miserably?
You're showin' me things I don't wanna see

St. Peter, if you can
Send me back to earth again
Is that somethin' you can do?
Pete said: It ain't up to me
If it was I'd like to see
How you plan to improve

Said: I'd love God and fellow man
Take a wife and make a stand
Be the 'givinest' guy I can be
And when I get back to this neighborhood
There'd be a big gigantic pile of wood
And I'd say: What's this I see?
You'd tell me…

Chorus:
That's all the lumber--that's all the lumber
That's all the lumber you sent.
Looks like the builder—man, he's got your number
That's all the lumber you sent.

it's currently my favourite song -- for this week anyway I think it says alot.
I could also paste the lyrics to Tree63's whole album and a whole heap of Third Day -- but I won't

I'm going shopping in two days - maybe tomorrow - I was going to paste a picture of the shoes I wanted but the site is being renovated - ppft And the mathers page is also broken so BAH

Link This is the bed I really really like and would like to get on Saturday.

Okay enough procrastinating the laundry pile is just getting bigger and bigger -- Thanks Nick. and Elana - *sigh* -- Oh point of note - don't wash those curtains -- they get destroyed they're so old and dusty -- and they didn't even come clean - it was bad
and I have to do a mop out of the house again.

Uh-uh Elana's awake - oh well *sigh* - one of those days.

6.30... You got Sleep In!

I got up at 4.45 to watch Jana run the 400m Hurdles! An excellent effort for 5th place considering her knee! I couldn't get back to sleep...

Ohhh... I LOVE doing the Washing, seriously...

trina: I adore you, girl, but I can't help but feel that you are judging me. Even though I don't "know" you, I feel like I do, and because I feel that connection with you, what you have written hurts me.

I am not a very good Christian . . . I will admit that upfront. However, I don't recall any scripture forbidding me from having a sense of humor. I don't wish to get in a back-and-forth argument over this, I just want to let you know that your choosing to judge my heart and my actions makes me sad.

I still adore you and don't want you to think that I have a grudge or bad feelings towards you . . . I just needed to share my feelings with you. Blog on, trina p!

I'm not that interested in the olympics - I saw the replays on Sunrise - Personally I'm against the Olympics because they take off all the good tv - like Blue Heelers *sigh* - I only watch 3 shows on Channel 7 - Sunrise, Home & Away and Blue Heelers.
She was really congenial about her loss too - she didn't say "oh I could have won if it wasn't for this darn knee - she said she didn't want to take the win away from the other girls -- very sportsman like - Very Australian.

And that Australian - Austrian runner said her gold medal was for Australia too because she couldn't forget her past (she grew up in Geelong) as that's what made her what she was today. I thought that was great too.

Texas - I didn't want you to feel like I was judging you because then that would make me a hypocrite - it was just the way I saw things - I didn't really see those things that were said by any of the people that said them as funny.
I'm sorry.
And I'm not the best Christian either - but we're all trying.
And I didn't want this blog to be the 9th one on the same subject - it was just something I had ot get off my chest before I moved on -- I kind of felt that Gideon was judging me when he said that apologising for mentioning the bible on Muggaz blog said alot.
I apologised because I felt you could catch more flies with honey then vinegar (that statement makes little sense) -- I want people to see a light in me and say I want what she's got - she seems happy how can I get that - then ask me and I can share about what God and Jesus have done in my life. I don't want to be put in some box - oh she's just a bible bashing Christian.

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh and Cosmos - If you love it so much you can do mine - first you have to separate and soak the baby's stuff into colours so that they don't run - soak them well cause they've got milk and biscuit and carrot stains on the front.
Then you have to sort Nicks work stuff from his casual - and wash the buiness shirts separately.
Another load for the pants and shorts
and another for the socks and undies.

Yet another for my own stuff

And another for towls
and finally another for sheets.

How many is that - 2 baby, 4 Nick, 2 Trina 3/4 others - 12!!! oi - great we're out of washing powder *sigh*

Oh and Cosmos - If you love it so much you can do mine

I suprisingly DO enjoy doing the Washing! I ALWAYS sort out the colours, I never wash lint givers with non-lint givers and I NEVER put BRAND NEW, white cotton Throws in with a BRAND NEW, red cotton Throw in a HOT wash and the DRYER (... like my darling G/F!). I am FOREVER getting into trouble for doing too much laundry! I am the Laundry Nzi, who would have thought...

trina, i'm sorry you're having a down day. i just wanted to leave you a note to make certain you knew how welcome your opinions are to me, and to tell you that i respect you and your beliefs.

the reason i say this is that i notived on another thread that you added my name to a list of those who had agreed to join a certain 'cause' that shall remain nameless. i'm not much for gossip, but your opinion genuinely matters to me, and i wanted to make it clear that i didn't agree to join or support anything.

i was left a link to the article in question by the poster himself, asking that i 'join the fight'. i followed said link, read the content of the post, and left a comment which i thought made it clear that i was prepared only to work for good. i remember the incident, as at the time i was uncertain how to react.

i'm fairly passive, i hate taking sides, so i left a comment that said ... " IF you intend to use your site for good, then i am happy to support that ". i guess i should have made myself plainer. (ok, i know i should have now !.) anyway, for the record, i do not support or intend to support any such thing. that comment is one of i think two contacts i have had with that poster in about 8 months. he and i just have nothing in common.

but you and i do, and for that reason i wanted you to know where i stood on this issue. please give elana a smooch for me. and keep your chin up. the bad times will pass.

From one Christian to another.....SPM is satire at it's definate highest. Don't take it seriously. I find his stuff to be pretty funny when viewed in that vein. He's poking fun at the narrow-minded views of a lot of people.

I get frustrated sometimes over the limitations of trying to express thoughts and ideas with just type. It is difficult to communicate the subtle nuances over the net. Amazing what a simple smile or wink can communicate.

We all do what we can do, sister, and that's pretty much it. Those that feel they need to engage in heated battles and flame wars in order to feel justified are welcome to it. I am never afraid to express my opinion on things but always try to do so in a respectful and civil manner, never resorting to personal attacks.

I like your style sister and look forward to reading more of what ypou care to express here.

It's not really a down day - just kinda BLAH -- (see Wahine's PMS article - hers is better ) Blah with lots of laundry.

I understand that Mig - perhaps I worded said support wrong - I was merely trying to point out that people besides Muggaz went onto that nameless blog and pledged support and I realise yours was for the peace on JU - I didn't mean to bring you into anything I was just listing the people on that blog in order of...appearance
I'm sorry it was misconstrued -- I know you don't support that type of thing

Elana the monkey!!! - Will do Mig but again its not bad (apart from how I feel about my trying to "help" - *sigh* I really should have just not said anything about anything.

Oh and I wanted to say - Mig I Love YOU!!!!!!!!! Welcome back (and thankyou for your support on that other matter on one of my other blogs)
on Aug 25, 2004
Mason are you talking to me, wahine or Mig when you say "I like your style sister..."

If it's me thankyou!! And you're right - it is hard to convey all the nuances over the net that's one of it's downsides
on Aug 25, 2004
I was definately talking to you, Trina.

I find it quite baffling that this whole frenzy surrounding Muggaz is blamed on me when I had no involvement in the original article or the subsequent arguments. I have read some of the comments and would take a guess that at least 30% of the comments mention my good self. It has nothing to do with me so please refrain from dragging me into your silly working class squabbling. I refer you to the following article which was written over three weeks ago, this states the Maxwell position on the witch hunts being waged against myself and the Maxwellians Link

As for Muggaz, this is good experience for the chap as all great men must learn to be hated by their intellectual inferiors.
