I'm inlove with a cover version of a song I keep hearing on TV shows - I think the first time I can remember hearing it was on ER when Mark passed away in Hawaii - My god I cried so much accentuated by that song

Then I heard it again when Sunrise was in Hawaii and it was being played on The Block all the time when something slow was happening - it was playing in the background when they announced the winner etc.

It was Somewhere Over the Rainbow -- but I had NO idea who sang it or where to find it -- It was actually Somewhere over the rainbow/what a wonderful world by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole' and it's absolutely fantastic!!

It's also featured in Finding Forrester and Meet Joe Black -- which is the other place I'd heard it before.

So the Mystery is solved - now to head out and try and find it on a cd so I can play it at home.

Speaking of Over the Rainbow -- I was trying to find who sang the above and I remembered that the kid in Face/Off listened to Over the Rainbow on a tapedeck - I knew it wasn't the version I was thinking of but out of curiosity I looked up who it was -- It's Olivia Newton John --- I find this amusing because Face/Off is a John Travolta movie - and they co-starred in Grease together.

Thanks IG - I'll check it out

I walked down the aisle (it was grass) to Pachebel Cannon played by one violinist who happened to be Nick's Cousins Cousin (ie Nicks mothers brothers wifes sisters daughter - confused yet)
Mig it's a great song - rent one of the above movies or go to Amazon or somehow find a way to hear it - I love that song
