not just for buttons

Currently Elana is sitting on her mat playing with the various toys (ie picking them up shaking them and putting them back down and picking up something else)- I just looked up and she was sucking her thumb - nothing unusal about that - however she had her thumb through one of the buttonholes of her jacket and she was sucking her thumb.

She had me in hysterics. But then she often does - like when she was trying to control the tv with the xbox controller.
Or when she accidently changed the channel from hi-5 to Judge Judy and she cried untiI I changed it back

Don't worry - it wasn't stuck - she's stopped now - she's looking at her hands with a puzzled look like "hmm it's time I had a manicure"

Now she's got the tv remote control and staring at the lights on the stereo while "dancing" laughing and talking Wahwahbaba

*sigh*

Very descriptive writing....I can just see her doing those things! Makes me miss those sweet little baby days!! Cherish them, because all too soon she'll be a mouthy teenaged girl and you'll wish you could have these times BACK......

She's sooo cute!  I want to give her a big fat hug!!!!!

Auntie Karen and Uncle Dave say Elana and her Mum and Dad can come and visit any time they want to!

I was at the store the other day and saw little pink outfits and found myself wondering if they'd fit her......

Awwww she sounds so lovely, it's amazing how these little things can just make you think how great they are! My sister has gone away for a week and I'm left holding the baby, I have a new found respect for all you Mums!

Funny stuff Trina.

It all sounds so familiar.  Our little guy here loves the TV remote and the controller for the PlayStation!  (I could have written this article about our baby.  Funny.)

Little Kenny gets a kick out of hearing Judge Judy's name.  If I say "Judge Judy" to him, he laughs.  I wonder why...
