and she's not too bright sometimes

A friend gave us a crab rattle as part of a baby shower gift before Elana was born. It was a crab because one night when Nick and a bunch of friends were working on an assignment at the uni labs well into the night - Nick got a little tired and silly - he started walking (while sitting on a chair with wheels) like a crab.

(on a side note - I wouldn't be surprised if Elana grows up to have an affinity with sea creatures - she has the crab rattle, the stuffed fish/turle/whale that hang over her mat that has many ocean creatures on it and she's got the fisher price aquarium on her cot)

ANYway - So today I finished giving her her bottle and I tried putting her on the mat - but she didn't like that much so I just decided to save my sanity and picked her up and she brought the crab with her. So we sat down at the dining table because I noticed that the rainbow lorikeets had come back (we've been feeding them for 2 months now - they drop by periodically throughout the day)
And she's playing with the crab - shes trying to eat its legs which are these coloured turning things that are made from that grippy plastic so they can gum it without hurting themselves - and they're grooved with different textures for this purpose - so that was okay anyway she's turning this crab in her hand and she just opens her mouth SO wide and just sticks the whole pincer in (it's a big platis bouble that's got a shiny ball in it that rattles - it's probably 5cm in diametre and she just sticks it in this wide open mouth. I was flabbergasted. Then she took it out (and here's she she's not too bright) she starts shaking it to make it rattle but she hits herself in the head and it's not the first time) She also tries to lick it like ice-cream - which is pretty funny because its a rolly one so when she licks it rolls and she gets frustrated and throws it.

She's now fallen asleep with her rug in one hand and her chain of links of plastic with gummy stuff bright colours and funny grooves in her other hand

You have to be able to put them on a website someplace and then link to them.
