For the last couple of weeks we've been having issues with our dvd player. At first I blamed the stereo which is crap beyound belief It's a 3 changer cd/tape/radio thing and all 3 disks are broken and the tape part doesn't work and the radio part is good most times but doesn't get all stations because of the aerial/antenna or something
So it's pretty much used only to listen to dvds - mostly Hi5.
Anyway we had issues with the volume going down to inaudiable and up to deafening without warning. So I unplugged the stereo and put the dvd player through the tv.
But didn't seem to fix the problem
Now I think it's the actual Hi5 dvd. Because twice now the same dvd has frozen and skipped over the same section. From Kathleens memories to Nathans undersea adventure The Summer Rainbows part of the dvd is a little screwed.
But so far I haven't seen any problems in the Move Your Body section of the "2 videos on 1 dvd"
But poor Elana she was so upset when the volume kept going up and down and then it just froze mid sentence. Especially since it's right after the part I have to skip over because it terrifies her.
Tim grows a sunflower. Tim is trying to make his sunflower grow up so he tries to sing different music to it. Country, Rock n Roll (elvis) and Lullabye have no effect but tapping on a bucket like the pitter patter of rain drops works a treat. It has the effect of Nathan dressed up like a sunflower with a BAD latin accent
And Elana screams - she's absolutely petrified of Nathan in his sunflower outfit that she cries as soon as Tim starts tapping on the bucket to make the rain music. And of course mummy forgets to skip it over until she cries. So with the skipping and the freezing we actually cut about 10minutes off the whole dvd.
