Tonight is a clash of the titans - state against state game 2 of 3 in the age old battle to decide which is better CANETOADS or cockroaches.
This has been going since 1980 - out of 70 there've been 2 ties and 34 wins to Qld. We've taken the shield 12 times with consequetive wins (all 3 games out of 3) in 1988, 1989 and 1995.
Tonight will be game 71 - and I'm very excited - watching it home alone with my husband tonight - no parties just the footy and homemade meat pie mmm
This time Lockyer's in -- both teams will have a 5/8 and the blues have brought back freddy fitler -- like that's really going to help them -we'll still wipe the floor with them- although minocello's back too....

Shrek and Donkey are the "mascots" this year - SHrek's going for the maroons -- anyway on an ad during who wants to be a millionaire (ie in the show on the bottom of the screen) a cockeroach in a blue jersey came on screen only to be eaten by a canetoad that bounded on screen in a maroons jersey a minute later.
