Australian Television Channel? take 2

Okay that was so long but it was going to be longer - these are some of the Australian movies your should watch if you haven't already.

Bad Eggs
Blackrock (look for a very young Heath Ledger)
The Castle
Dating the Enemy
Doctors & Nurses - THIS is SOOOO classic - it's kids pretending to be adults and anyone who's anyone in 1981 makes cameos like Bert Newton.
Hercules Returns - another absolute classic with Mary Coustas "Effie" oh man I can't even describe how good this movie is go out and get it now 1993
Garage Days (excellent for Arty fans of cinematography not for the fainthearted)
Hotel de Love
Looking for Alibrandi
Me Myself I
Murials Wedding
Paperback Hero
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert
Reckless Kelly
The Shiralee
Spider & Rose
Strictly Ballroom
Young Einstein

My point was that I think there should be like an Australian channel on cable like there's the UK channel - You're missing out people!!!
And so am I - I need a TeVo

You would not believe how freaked I was on Young Einstein when I was a wee lad. I have the tape and the movie, colouring books... heaps of gear! I think I just liked nerds from an early age... and stupid comedies. Adam Sandler is a big fave now. I really love the aussie sense of humor in things like The Castle and local hip-hop music. I even have a friend who acted in Paperback Hero!

I think I'll have to use your list as a What To See over the next year... that, and a few that Teegs has suggested. I see far too few movies.
